Father’s Day DIY Gift Ideas
Father’s Day is about a week away so I have planned out a special day for my hubby!
I found free printables to make easy DIY gifts with the kids. You can give great Father’s Day gifts that Daddy will love, without spending much or even better, nothing!
Here’s the game plan: Making pancake stacks with little signs, cupcakes with toppers, a hand print tree art project, and an about Dad questionnaire.
Here are the FREE DIY downloads I plan on using this year.
I will use these signs from Paper Glitter attached to a toothpick and stick them in our breakfast pancake stacks. The boys will help me make the pancakes, they love to bake!
Use these cute signs from Paper Cutz Midland as cupcake topper signs attached to toothpicks.
The art gift from my boys will be handprint trees from The Crafting Chicks. I will do one for each boy and one with all three. I will paint each boys hand a different color to make a colorful tree with 3 different size hand prints! My boys love getting to play with paint, especially when they get to paint their actual hands!
I thought this questionnaire would be a funny and cute gift for daddy also from The Crafting Chicks . I’m sure my boys will have some hilarious answers! This will be a great gift to save and look at when your kids are older!
Here are our finished projects after Father’s Day. My husband loved them, and my boys loved making them!
What DIY gifts do you have planned?

My husband and I are both born and raised in Texas so we love Country Fried Steak! When my husband had to start eating Gluten Free this was one of the first recipes I searched for and worked on to perfect. We can still have our Southern Comfort food while eating Gluten Free and that makes my husband very happy!

DIY Play Kitchen Oven
This post comes courtesy of my good friend Sharon. She is a super crafty lady on the cheap! She made this play oven for my niece!
This play kitchen was made out of extra furniture laying around. Super cheap and way easy for anyone to make! Spent total $15 to make this.
You can also get some “junk” stuff people leave on the curb or from thrift store. She is working on a big oven now with a dresser she picked up form the curb!
Basically just sand it down and then paint whatever paint color you want.
You can buy cheap test paints people return at home dept or lowes for cheap. She got this one at home dept for 50 cents!
Then add fabric on the bottom to cover the area. You can get the fabric at hobby lobby or walmart for cheap. They always put the returned fabric on sale, great deal!
Optional, add a wood piece on back for that extra look.
Next, add hard ware. She got hers from home dept for $1.
Last paint circles on the top for the stove top
She added a picture frame from the dollar tree and painted it to match the fabric for a little color.
Super Cute!
Hope this inspires you to do some DIY crafts on the cheap!
Peanut Butter Gluten Free & Vegan Cookies
With my husband having Celiac and a chocolate allergy these Peanut Butter Cookies are a good option for his sweet tooth needs.
I sometimes bring these cookies to work for everyone to try. They are always surprised that a gluten free and vegan cookie could taste like a “regular” cookie, and they always eat them all!
Peanut Butter cookies are one of favorites and this is a great recipe! Enjoy!
