Lego Valentine’s Day Cards Free Printable

What kid doesn’t love Legos?  My son is obsessed with them so I designed these fun Lego Valentines with a Design your own Minifigure on the backside!  My 7 year old son helped me pick out which figures to include on the Valentines.  There are 6 Valentines on this printable, 3 boys and 3 girls, they are perfect for your child’s classroom party!  

Use these Free Printables as gift tags, or attach a piece of candy, pencil or DIY Lego Minifigure crayons on them to make the perfect class Valentine.

To print on the backside of the paper. You will print the front of the Valentine first then put the printed page back in your paper tray. For my printer I put my paper with printed side up and the top of page closest to printer mouth. Every printer is different so you will need to figure out how your printer paper feeds.  You may have to do a test round or two.

Gluten-Free Bacon Cornbread Muffins Recipe

One of my goals this new year is to make my mornings run more smoothly.   I was looking for breakfast foods I could precook and heat up in the morning and saw several people suggesting making breakfast muffins.  My son is a bacon freak so I came up with this Bacon Cornbread Muffin recipe and my family just loves them!  I used organic maple syrup instead of sugar to add sweetness to the cornbread.  By using organic maple syrup you will  get vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, what a great way to start your day!  You could also use organic honey instead but I prefer the bacon and maple syrup combination. 

For this recipe I use Pamela’s Gluten Free Cornbread & Muffin Mix, 12 Ounce Bag and pour my batter into a mini cupcake pan.  One bag makes 48 mini cornbread muffins!  I make them on Sunday and put in the refrigerator, but they can be frozen too if you do not plan to eat them within 2-3 days.

Gluten Free Bacon Cornbread Muffins

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag gluten free cornbread mix I used Pamela's Cornbread & Muffin Mix 12oz bag
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 8 TBSP butter 1 stick or butter substitute, melted
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup of shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • 6-8 pieces of cooked and crumbled bacon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°
  • Cook and crumble 6-8 pieces of bacon.
  • Melt butter.
  • In medium bowl, combine cornbread mix, syrup, melted better, eggs and water.
  • Mix shredded cheese and crumbled bacon into the batter.
  • Pour batter into muffin tin or cupcake liner and fill to top.
  • Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Udi’s Gluten Free Uncured Pepperoni Pizza!

The pizza is more a personal pizza size (10.1 oz) but my boys and I can share 1 for a snack. My husband eats one by himself as a meal. It is a thin crispy crust that has a tasty sauce and uncured pepperoni! 

It is great to know I have a good back up plan for those days I can’t cook  us a meal.  I think Udi’s frozen pizza is a much better option than eating out because it’s gluten free, less expensive, it’s easy to bake and it’s delicious!

Udi’s Gluten Free Uncured Pepperoni Pizza Being on a budget I love that I can stock up on them at my local Walmart where they offer several Gluten Free Products for Less!  Most stores I have seen sale this pizza for $7.99; at my local Walmart they were selling it for $5.76 as their normal price, no sale!

Finding quality Gluten Free foods for a good price can be difficult, don’t get me started on frozen gluten free options!  Luckily, Walmart has answered their customers request for more Gluten Free products and are adding more to their selection at a great price too. 

I love that my local Walmart has their frozen food section with large signs labeling their Gluten Free products.  I hate it when the gluten free products are just randomly placed with other products with no signs pointing out products are gluten free.  Walmart has made it really easy to find frozen Gluten Free products and I appreciate anything that makes my shopping experience easier!  I hope they continue this trend on all their aisles.

Buying Gluten Free products on a budget and stocking up on Gluten Free snacks is a lot easier now that Walmart is carrying more brands like Udi’s,Glutino, Van’s, Nature’s Path and more!

I love the vintage/ retro look of this apron! I really love the black and white print and the thick black trim on this apron. It is sewn well and features a convenient and rather large pocket that can hold utensils or your phone. I really like the thick apron strap; I hate skinny strings that cut into your neck!  This is pull over your head style apron and not the tie behind your neck kind.  I think this style is much more comfortable to wear.  The back tie straps are thick also.  I like the detail of trim around the entire apron, even around the pocket.

I posted recently about My Favorite Holiday Tradition and told you about our new tradition of visiting the Walmart Toyland #ChosenByKids Event this year! It was a blast and my son loved being an official Toy Tester!

At my local Walmart they had a station setup with several toys for people to test out and interact with. The toys they had out to test were this year’s hottest toys, chosen by kids! It was a great way to see what’s new and what kids are excited about. My son loved testing the toys out in the middle of the store. He was talking about the event all day!

While testing it out in the store he crashed into a near by shelf and knocked a few toys off!  So of course that was the highlight of the event!  The sweet ladies working the Toyland #ChosenByKids Event told me that these were flying out of the store and I could understand why!  They were very cool with their flashing lights and ablility to spin, turn and flip! They were on sale for $9.95 and required 1-9-volt and 4-double A batteries.   My son was super excited when I told him we were taking it home!

The MerchSource Tumbler R/C performs well on carpet, tile and hardwood. It works best on the hardwood to do spins, like “The Tornado”. The carpet and grooves in the tiles slow it down some.

The remote and car each have an On/OFF switch. So be sure your kids turn both off when they are done playing with it.
