As we step into a brand new year, I always find myself reflecting on where I’ve been, where I’m going, and—most importantly—Who is leading me. One of my favorite verses to cling to in every season, especially one full of change and unknowns, is Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV):
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
This verse has carried me through so many moments of anxiety and uncertainty. When life feels overwhelming or my thoughts begin to spiral, I come back to this promise. It reminds me that even when I don’t see the full picture, God does. His plans are intentional, good, and filled with purpose.
That truth makes it such a beautiful verse to start the new year with. Instead of clinging to fear, pressure, or “what ifs,” we can step forward with hope, confidence, and an eternal mindset. God is faithful. He is working. And He is lovingly guiding every step of our journey.
To help keep this encouraging reminder close throughout the year, I’ve created a free printable of Jeremiah 29:11. Display it in your home, place it in your prayer journal, gift it to a friend, or frame it as daily encouragement. My prayer is that it blesses you the way it has blessed me.
