Christmas Lights and Snow will definitely get you in the Holiday Spirit! My family is in full “Christmas Mode” after enjoying our visit to The Gift of Lights at Texas Motor Speedway!
The Gift of Lights at Texas Motor Speedway is one of the most visited holiday parks in North Texas, featuring a drive-thru holiday spectacular light show with over two million LED lights and 600 unique holiday displays across 1.7 miles at Texas Motor Speedway.
We loaded our car with myself, husband, 3 boys, and my Christmas Light obsessed Father-in-law! My Father-in-law actually goes to The Gift of Lights every year and takes our boys too! This was the first trip for myself and my husband. Let’s just say we will be going with him in the future!!!
You don’t actually drive on the racetrack, but you do get to drive under the stadium sitting! You are instructed to turn off your lights to enhance the experience. We turned up the Christmas music and then followed the lights!
We loved all the amazing and fun light displays! They had beautiful religious ones, traditional holiday ones, beloved cartoon characters, and of course racing cars!
My boys loved the Grinch display since they recently watched the movie!
After enjoying the ride in the car looking at the lights we got out to enjoy more holiday fun and SNOW!!! Snow in December that you can actually play with!!! In Dallas/ Fort Worth you know you could wait all the way until March for real snow that is play worthy! My boys couldn’t contain there excitment when they saw the snow area and tubing hill!
My 3 year old was a little hesitant to go down the outdoor tubing hill at first but after the first time down he was hooked. He went down about 10 times over and over!
We took a little break to warm up with hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows!!! Yummy!!!
My entire family had such a great time! This really is a great event for everyone in your family. Join one of the biggest holiday celebrations in Texas this holiday season!
