My son is 1 years old and he still loves to play with this blanket.  I love the size of this because it fits great in the diaper bag and doesn’t take up a lot of space.  My son loves the bottom green section, he just runs his hands over that part over and over.  He also loves the mirror, but I think all babies love looking at themselves!

The wings make a crinkle sound, there are 3 teethers total (2 feet and 1 heart shaped) the heart shaped teether can be stored in the little owl pocket, and the backing on this blanket is a super soft textured fabric.

This is a very well made blanket. I can tell this blanket will last for a long time. I will be able to pass it down to a new baby once my son outgrows it.

I have been rearranging and redecorating my boy’s playroom. I think it’s so fun and exciting creating a fun space for them to play and let their imaginations run wild.  There was an empty wall in the playroom that needed something and I thought a wall decal or mural would be perfect!  I really wanted a high quality and Eco-friendly wall decal and I found Sunny Decals offered just that. I love the simplicity of wall decals and stickers. I have used decals in my boy’s bedrooms and I really love how quickly they can transform a room and NO CLEAN UP!!!  But, not all decals are created equal.  I have experienced decals with 10 different sections that we had to carefully stick on the wall to create the mural.  Also, I have used decals that are not re-positionable so once you have it up there is no rearranging the room.  Most wall decals on the market use toxic vinyl; Sunny Decals use the highest quality fabric materials and Eco-friendly inks. Their products are non-toxic, biodegradable, and phthalates free and will not shrink or tear. Also, they can be repositioned over and over again without leaving any sticky residue on your walls.

One of the first things I noticed about the Sunny Decals was the quality of the fabric materials used.  The material is thicker and more durable than any wall decal or sticker I have ever used.  I was careful pulling them from the wax paper but the decals never came close to tearing, stretching or wrinkling.  I had to rearrange the decals several times to get it the mural even and balanced and I had no issues at all with removing them from the wall and repositioning.  Did I mention the installation did not require any transfer paper or special tools!  This was one of the largest decals I have put up but it was honestly the easiest!

It took about 10-15 minutes to finish our dinosaur wall and the boys even got to help put the decals on!  It looks great on the wall and most importantly the boys love it!  They even got all their dinosaur toys out to celebrate! The way I put my wall decal set up it measured 2 ft 8 in tall and 6 ft 6 in wide.

I was given this book from Little Pickle Press in exchange for my honest opinion.  

Looking for a simple way to explain to a child what it means to be Green and Eco-friendly?  The book, What Does it Mean to Be Green?  by Rana DiOrio and published by Little Pickle Press Publications  is perfect to help you do just that!  It is written well with cute illustrations and easy for childern to understand.  This books encourages children to help others, even Grown-ups, to be Green too!

My 7 year old was able to read this book with just a little help from me.  After reading it we talked about ways are family is being Green and ways to help others be Green too. My son said that his school does recycle but sometimes the other kids do not throw their paper in there. He said he is going to start helping others be Green by reminding them to recycle.

This book is really cute and even has silly parts like, “Does it mean feeling sick in the car? No.” It also included great ideas that even a child can do to be Green like truing off lights, turning off water, recycling, using both sides of your paper to draw, and so on.

I really do love this book and want to share it with everyone! I already contacted my son’s teacher about reading for his class and maybe all the 1st grade classes for Earth Day!
