I love a DIY and creative teacher gift as much as any crafty person does but sometimes it just feels right to give them a gift I know they will use for sure….a gift card! I have heard from several that Teachers love gift cards as gifts! Why? Because they can buy supplies they need for the class or if you give them a restaurant gift card they can use it for a yummy treat. To make the act of giving a gift card a little more special I created a post card gift card holder and I am sharing it with you! There are 2 versions of the printable; one with, “Happy First Day of School” message and a blank post card. The blank post card can be used anytime during the school year; for teacher appreciation week, their birthday, holidays and as an end of the year gift.
Your child can write a special note to their teacher and even draw a picture on the back of the post card! Notice the 2015-2016 school year postage stamp, super cute detail! 2 post cards per page.
I recommend printing on card stock paper. I used brown kraft cardstock paper for mine!
