With school about to start I wanted to share Bible Verses to inspire and encourage my boys. These Kids Bible Verses printables will be great to display in your child’s room or playroom. I think these would look great in any kid’s room! What an easy way to share God’s word with your children! These printables would also be great to print and place on your fridge, to help memorize a Bible verse.

I just love the way these fun and colorful designs turned out and I hope you love them too! I pray for and encourage you to share the Bible with your children.

This printable will fit within an 8×10 frame. I recommend printing on card stock paper or photo paper. Just open, print, trim and display in any space! This set will work great for a gallery wall! I have also included a square version of this design so you can share them on Instagram!

My oldest son is entering 5th grade, so I wanted to create lunch box notes that my older kid would like. I’m sharing these school lunch box notes free printable featuring cool images. Perfect notes to add to any child’s lunch and just in time for the first days of school!

Use these Lunch Box Notes Free Printable as gift tags for teacher gifts or students from the teacher! I designed this for my boys, but the designs are gender neutral so that it will work for any child.

Do your kids like fingerprint crafts? I am sharing the Bugs Fingerprint Art printable guide I created for my boys with you!

Fingerprint art is one of my kids favorite art projects and I like too because it is usually pretty easy to set up and clean up. Lately, my boys love anything bug related and wanted me to show them different bugs to make. Because of their love for fingerprint art and bugs I created a page with several different bugs for them to use as a guide so they can reference while creating their fingerprint bugs on their own. Of course, I’m also sharing these fun bug fingerprint art ideas with you as a free printable guide!

Use this as a guide for your child to look at or let them fingerprint right onto the guide page. To get started you will need paper, a fine tipped marker and colorful stamping inks or finger paint. My boys really love this guide; you can see in the picture above my son did a great job and I love the jar he added to his picture! Another idea is print the guide and display it in your kids room or play room! I hope you enjoy this guide and it helps your little ones create their very own fingerprint bugs!

DIY Mad Scientist Costume and Scientist Badge Free Printable

My oldest son is all about DIY Halloween costumes and this year he decided to be a Mad Scientist! We had most of the supplies needed to put together this awesome DIY Mad Scientist Costume. The Mad Scientist Costume is a really easy costume to put together last minute too.

The only things I purchased was a lab coat found at the thrift store for $0.50, fake mustache and some plastic test tubes on Amazon for $5.

DIY Mad Scientist Costume – What you need:

slacks/pants
button up dress shirt
bow tie
safety goggles
lab coat
hair gel for crazy hairdo
scientist badge (free printable below)
badge holder and clip
glasses (optional)
fake mustache (optional)
charcoal dust (optional)
test tubes or beakers (optional)

How we put our DIY Mad Scientist Costume together:

My son already had black slacks and a grey button up shirt. Little brother owned a bow tie that fit him. He already owned fake glasses but if you don’t I suggest getting some 3-d glasses and removing their lenses. I usually keep our 3-D glasses when we go to the movies. Safety goggles came from grandpa’s work shop. The lab coat size small was found at thrift store. If you can’t find a lab coat at your thrift store you can make one from an adult white button up shirt. Fake mustache was found at the grocery store and plastic test tubes from Amazon.

I filled the test tubes with colored water. We opted for an explosion went off look and used our activated charcoal capsules; I opened the capsules and smudged it all over his face. You could use black face paint instead but the the charcoal dust looks more authentic, in my opinion.

Free Printable Scientist Badge:

I designed an official looking Scientist badge with help from my son. I printed, cut out and taped it to an old work badge (you can find badge holders & clips at most stores or Amazon). We loved the way the badge turned out! I am sharing this badge with you too!

Some options for the badge is print a picture of your child to put over the fingerprint. Also, you can either write in your child’s name or use an editing program to type in their name. To add text you will need to save the file and open it in an editing program. First, download and save the pdf file. Then you will need to open the file in a program like Adobe Reader or Word, and add text box(s) to add your text to the badge(s).

This badge would be great for your DIY Mad Scientist costume for Halloween, dress-up play or for a Scientist Themed party. I think these badges would make a great party favor! I have shared a printable with 1 badge on the page and a printable with 9 badges on the page (for parties).
